♥ I believe in the power of art, the love in life and the tradition of photography. I'm a photographer in Post Falls ID, near Coeur d'Alene Idaho & Spokane Washington. My focus when on a shoot is to encourage natural interaction between my clients. I believe that when people come together their natural chemistry is the true treasure to be captured. Creating images that share that chemistry is the ultimate beauty of portraiture. It is not my intention to gather a goup of people and "pose" them ever so perfectly for the camera. Instead I very gently guide my clients toward eachother creating harmony from within. When photographing a client alone I try to keep them feeling comfortable and beautiful through conversation and encouragement. Having your photograph taken should be an enjoyable experience.As an artist my style is unique. I work with mainly natural light, using flash in only rare circumstances and always work on location. One of my favorite locations for family photos is at people's own homes or on their property. There is something timeless in that.Weddings are a whole breed of their own. If you are lucky enough to find your one true love and then marry him or her, the photographer you choose should feel extremely blessed to be a part of that day. There is no more romance or opportunity for beautiful photographs than on anyone's wedding day.I have been photographing people for over 15 years and professionally for over 10. I have a BA in Art/Photography & apprenticed two distinguished photographers. It is my life's passion and what I was meant to do. Often I shoot weddings with my dear friend and fabulous photographer Danielle Kinney. We have been shooting weddings together for five years and have a natural rhythm that brides & grooms comment wonderfully on. Each shoot is around one hour - longer if needed, shorter if I'm confident that I've got what I'm looking for.
